Pec pod Snezkou, Czech Rep. – March 10th, 2008: The Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour returns the Czech Republic for the 3-Star Quiksilver Snow Jam taking place March 14th to 16th, 2008. The Slopestyle contest, also part of the O2 Snowboard Tour, offers up a 12 000 euro prize purse along with 550 TTR Ranking points for the winner. Pec pod Snezkou will be turned into a world-class Slopestyle course with a contest attracting riders from all over Europe who will compete on a unique set up designed by Nicolas Marduel of Switzerland.

Saturday’s qualifications will give riders the chance to compete for a place in the semi-finals and ride against 10 invited pro riders for a place on the podium. Female riders also have a chance to compete for 2000€ and 550 TTR points in the 3-Star Roxy Snow Jam including current World No. 13 Sarka Pancochova (CZE) who could move back into the TTR Top 10. Male riders who will be looking to add more ranking points to their current TTR point total include Austrian Rider Rudi Kröll, who recently finished 5th at the 5-Star Aesthetiker Jam Waengl Taengl and is current TTR World No. 24, Norwegian rider Fredrik Austbo who is TTR World No. 25 and Italian rider Filipo Crudeli.

The Swatch TTR 3-Star Quiksilver Snow Jam also features some rocking music acts set to get the crowd pumped at Pec Pod Snezkou. Right before the night’s finals, famous Czech rock band Wohnout will rock the stage followed by a great showcase of bands and DJs including Monkey Business, Airfare, DJ Ladida, DJ robot Vec, Jazzy, Zverina and DJ Friky.
